Rugby World Cup 2019

Today I listened to the English News Weekly Podcast. The title of the podcast is "Rugby World Cup 2019".

In this podcast,  the ENW team focus on the final of the world cup and what history was created there. In the world cup, South Africa defeated the England and won the third world title. The ENW went to the Yokohama International Stadium to watch the game. They found that there was an almost equal division between who supporting South Africa and who supporting England. The victory of the final made South Africa the second country that win three world cups. (The other is New Zealand.) It also created a new bit of history. Siya Kolisi, the 28-year old captain of the South Africa team became the first non-white to hoist the Webb Ellis Cup. This became a milestone for the history of South Africa that had been suffered from the racism.

When this World Cup was held, I was the third grade student of the high school. I clearly remain that the active of representation from Japan. This world cup was very exciting. In this World cup, I was good that I could find many interesting point of rugby.
