Night at the Museum

     A movie that I really like was called Night at the Museum. It was made in 2006. Ben Stiller was starred and Shawn Levy directed.      The story of this movie is set in American Museum of Natural History. At the beginning, Larry, the main character of this movie was looking for a job. Then, he found the job of night security guard of the museum. In this museum, every exhibits came to life because of a magical tablet. At first, he had difficulty in having contact with the moving exhibit, but he gradually came to understand them. One day, he found that the magical tablet was stolen by elderly security girds. He cooperated with the exhibits and succeed to get the tablet back.      I watched this movie on a TV program when I was an elementally school student. I was interested in the jobs of museum, so this movie really interested me. Of course, I have watched the sequels of this movie. Next time, I want to watch then in English!

The Return of HAYABUSA2

      Last Sunday, I watched the live image of the return of HAYABUSA2, which is the space probe of JAXA. At about 2:29 a.m. , a fireball appeared and went through the sky of Woomera with thin tail. The light disappeared in short time, but it remains in my memory strongly.       HAYABUSA2 was launched in December third, 2014. It's purpose is to bring back the soil sample of minor planet called 1999JU3 (after the launch of HAYABUSA2, this asteroid was named Ryugu, come from a castle appeared in a Japanese folk tale). Ryugu is a kind of minor planets that is thought to contain some water or organic matter in it's soil. By researching these soil, we may be able to solve the mystery of how the solar system was formed and where the lives came from.     HAYABUSA, the predecessor of HAYABUSA2, experienced a lot of difficulty in it's mission to bring back the soil from Itokawa. Rugby World Cup 2019

     Today I listened to the English News Weekly Podcast. The title of the podcast is "Rugby World Cup 2019".      In this podcast,  the ENW team focus on the final of the world cup and what history was created there. In the world cup, South Africa defeated the England and won the third world title. The ENW went to the Yokohama International Stadium to watch the game. They found that there was an almost equal division between who supporting South Africa and who supporting England. The victory of the final made South Africa the second country that win three world cups. (The other is New Zealand.) It also created a new bit of history. Siya Kolisi, the 28-year old captain of the South Africa team became the first non-white to hoist the Webb Ellis Cup.
