ENW on the Easter Island

    Today I listened to a podcast called "ENW...on Easter Island!. They talked about the trip to the Easter Island and the history of the Island.

    Easter Island is a small Island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The ENW team stayed at a Glamping site. They could saw amazing view of the Pacific Ocean.

    This Island is famous for the Moai statues. There are about 887 statues dotted across the Island. These statues were crafted between 1250 to 1500 years ago. About 95% of 887 Moai statues were founded in the quarry at Rano Raraku. There does remain a lot of questions about Moai. For example, why they were made and who do they depict.

    ENW team paid US$90 for a 3.5 hour stargazing tour at the end of their trip. They could see Mar's red surface and the perfect clarity of Saturn's rings. They were very satisfied. 


    After I listened at this Podcast, I felt like to visit the Island someday.

Rugby World Cup 2019

     Today I listened to the English News Weekly Podcast. The title of the podcast is "Rugby World Cup 2019".      In this podcast,  the ENW team focus on the final of the world cup and what history was created there. In the world cup, South Africa defeated the England and won the third world title. The ENW went to the Yokohama International Stadium to watch the game. They found that there was an almost equal division between who supporting South Africa and who supporting England. The victory of the final made South Africa the second country that win three world cups. (The other is New Zealand.) It also created a new bit of history. Siya Kolisi, the 28-year old captain of the South Africa team became the first non-white to hoist the Webb Ellis Cup. Delicious Food in Airplanes

      Today I listened to a podcast called "Delicious Food in Airplanes". They talked about how terrible the food served in airplane is.      There are a woman and a man talking about the food in airplane. She says the food in airplane is very terrible. However the man don't know how they are terrible. She says that she don't want to be the child of the chefs and flight attendant that serve such a terrible food.

I was very busy last week.

     I was very busy last week.     First, I have to prepare for midterm tests of Inorganic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Especially, Inorganic Chemistry is very difficult to understand because it contains the theory of Physics. I'm not good at Physics so I have to review my notebook many times. There are also many things to remember to solve the questions of Biochemistry. I hope I could done my best at these tests.     Second, I have many homework. For example, the reports of Chemical experiment and Biological experiment, English terms of Biology, the homework of Programing and so on. Fortunately, I could finish all of them by the dead line but they made me very tired.     This week, I can relax than last week so I want to sleep a lot, play games, and join the club activity.
